Role Overview
UP.Labs seeks an experienced CEO with a successful track record in SaaS platforms in the Automotive industry. As the CEO, you will have end-to-end control of your portfolio company, driving product strategy, go-to-market plans, and team growth. Leverage the UP.Partners ecosystem for expertise and resources, fostering collaboration with corporate partners.

Required Expertise
  • Proven success in scaling SaaS platforms, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in leveraging ML Operations and AI agents for embedded automotive software
  • Deep understanding of LLM models and data science tooling, products and platforms
  • Familiarity with Engine Control Units (ECUs) and associated data.
  • Experience with SaaS deployment and engagement at scale for complex organizations.
  • Desire to address challenges in automotive data.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive company operations, product development, and strategy.
  • Lead go-to-market efforts across multiple geographies, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage P&L, define essential KPIs, and build a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with UP.Labs and technical leadership to shape the product vision, with an uncompromising focus on customer experience
  • Access & utilize the UP.Partners ecosystem - an expansive team across product, engineering, marketing, legal and venture capital, available to help advise & scale your portfolio organization.
  • Recruit, retain, and mentor a diverse, world-class team.
Qualifications
  • Proven cross-functional leadership in high-growth and operationally complex environments.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent go-to-market and product instincts, ability to sell and maintain enterprise level customers
  • PhD preferred, but not required.
  • Strong EQ, executive presence, and a collaborative approach.
  • Talent recruitment and culture-building expertise.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Location: Germany-based strongly preferred
